Resumo:
This work aims to describe the research process and the results obtained during the
master's degree in the Professional Postgraduate Program in Music at the Federal
University of Bahia (PPGPROM). The dissertation is composed of a descriptive
memorial, an academic memorial, an article and a final product. The descriptive
memorial presents significant events in the author's musical career, while the academic
memorial details the stages and experiences lived throughout the master's degree.
The article explores the importance of chamber music practice in the training course
at the Logistics Sergeant School (EsSLog), as well as the benefits it can bring to
musical training. As a final product, a notebook of transcribed arrangements for the
chamber music training brass quintet was developed, which aims to contribute to the
practice of chamber music in the training of musicians at EsSLog.
