Resumo:
The dossier aims to offer a broad and pluralistic view of the labor theory of value, presenting a series of articles that explore everything from historical and conceptual analyses to empirical investigations, seeking to serve a diverse audience ranging from students and researchers to workers and activists. Among the texts presented, contributions that discuss the changes in Marx's conception of value throughout the writing of Capital, the debate on the historical or transhistorical nature of abstract labor, and original interpretations of the relationship between surplus value and labor power are noteworthy. Also included are empirical studies that analyze the dynamics of value transfer in the contemporary Brazilian economy, demonstrating the practical relevance of Marxist concepts.
