Resumo:
This study presents the research EnDRAGar-se à Dança: Procedures for Creating Dance Performances Based on the Aesthetic-Political Aspects of Drag Queens, developed in the Master's Program in Dance at PRODAN. The investigation aims to discuss and reflect on choreographic and performative creation procedures that emerge from the intersection between drag practice and contemporary dance, considering the aesthetic and political aspects of drag queen performance. The methodology adopted is Practice as Research (Fernandes, 2014), as it understands that the research development process is directly related to the artistic practices that shape my knowledge in dance. I highlight the performance Rainhas do Inferno and the artistic residency EnDRAGar-se as artistic productions that form part of the research process, as well as the article EnDRAGar-se: Procedures for Staging Dance Performances and Performances as a bibliographic production. This research contributes to the field of dance by expanding the possibilities for creating and interpreting dissident bodies on stage, as well as enhancing the visibility of drag queen artists as producers of artistic and political knowledge.
