Resumo:
This Scientific Essay – which represents the author's intellectual production during her post-doctoral studies in Anthropology, carried out at the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the UFBA, between the years 2024 and 2025 – aims to present the result of an original field research using qualitative ethnographic methodology with participant observation, in order to serve as a channel for a flow of personal concepts and original theories, which can answer a question to the reader, namely: what does the treatment that uses spiritual ecstasy as a substitute satisfaction for drug addiction consist of?
