Resumo:
The present work is divided in three parts. The first part consists in a summary of the musical activities, teachers and learning before the Masters program, as well as the activities and the production during the course. In the second part, it is introduce an homonym article in which I present as an objective the identification of the musical language of the Trombone instrument in the Samba genre, in the Metropolitan Area of Rio de Janeiro, through the rhythmic and harmonic analysis of audio recordings from expressive interpreters, within the timeframe from the 1950s to 2010s. In the making of this article, I have interviewed musicians, both arrangers/composers and instrumentist that actively participated in the Samba musical movement. Trombonists Nelsinho Trombone and Roberto Marquês have been identified as the most expressive intepreters of the instrument, and after a biographical summary, one tune played by each was selected for analysis. The third part is presented as a notebook containing transcriptions of the two selected tunes of the mentioned artists, where through the analysis, exercises for developing the language used by them are suggested.
