Resumo:
This research presents a reflection that records the female body in fabric objects in the imagination of how it is seen in our society. Through a theoretical-practical investigation, it aims to raise questions, providing poetic visibility to subjects related to beauty standards, feminism, patriarchy, in the search for understanding how power mechanisms act on these bodies, since the most remote times and whether still reflect today, causing imprisonment in cultural models and stereotypes that inhibit their autonomy, in a world still dominated by male references, where women are constantly subjugated and inferiorized in different spheres of life, by producing works that can confront and question the values and discourses of femininity in force in contemporary times, promoting and enhancing new ways of life based on freedom and equality of being and existing. From this perspective, I approach some artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Rosana Paulino, Annette Messager, Sonia Gomes and Reinaldo Eckenberger, and with theorists Didi-Huberman, Eliane Robert Moraes, Cecília Almeida Salles, Silvia Federici and Margareth Rago, as well as other thinkers.
