Resumo:
This work aims to provide an accessibility diagnosis for the Memorial of the Faculty of
Law at UFBA, with the goal of creating a future accessibility program. Using a qualitative
methodology, the study is divided into three main phases: analysis of the historical
context of people with disabilities, review of cultural accessibility laws and standards,
and diagnosis of a memorial. Data collection was carried out through technical visits to
identify barriers and suggest solutions. It was found that effective tools are available to
ensure compliance with laws in cultural spaces. The study also seeks to raise
awareness on the topic and promote the use of diagnostics to improve accessibility,
suggesting the exploration of new approaches to this tool.
