Resumo:
This work is divided into some parts, the first being a memorial about my musical life
from the beginning to the present day, where I talk about experiences in music bands and my
professional master's experience, courses taken and professional practices developed during the
course . The second, we selected some works from the collection of Lira Carlos Gomes, a 142-
year-old music band from the city of Estância – SE that has a musical collection that spans the
19th, 20th and 21st centuries to edit, orchestrate and broadcast – them. In this process I used 4
types of editing which were: facsimile, diplomatic, critical and practical. These editions are
some of the possibilities that help preserve the collections, as well as create ways for other
music bands to play – and remove from the anonymity composers unknown to the public, but
who in the past were very important in the maintenance and foundation of bands. music in
Brazil.
