Resumo:
This course conclusion work aims to explore the processes related to the demands of
Venezuelan migrants/refugees in Salvador and Lauro de Freitas from 2019 to 2023,
investigating their motivations for change, territorial identity relations, and how they face
this new address and its mishaps. It analyzes the historical context that led Venezuela to
the current situation, discussing the impacts of international migrations along with how
the reception processes are and were carried out in order to understand the trajectories,
reception networks and the guarantee of rights of these subjects. This research has a
qualitative nature. Data were collected and processed through an internship at the
Support Center for Migrants and Refugees-NAMIR from 2021 to 2022, along with
interviews, participant observation and virtual meetings, which allowed better access to
interlocutors, as well as greater interaction with the same.
