Resumo:
The exercise of any activity involves taking risks. Delegated Entities, which play the role of Water Agencies for Basin Committees (CBH), sign a Management Contract with the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency (ANA) with goals to be achieved in actions that involve supporting the CBH, financial management of funds transferred from the revenues collected through the charge for the use of water resources in the hydrographic basin, and support for the implementation of the water resources plan for the respective basin. Risk management provides reasonable security in achieving objectives and making decisions aimed at improving the institution's service delivery. In this regard, this work aims to identify the main events that can influence the achievement of the goals of the Management Contract. To do so, the project conducted a literature review on risk management, document analysis, and the administration of questionnaires to strategic actors to support the development of a risk matrix. Based on this, a risk matrix was created that can be used by managers of delegated entities in the construction of the Risk Management Plan for Management Contracts.
