Resumo:
The book Atlas Santo Amaro, Bahia brings together representations of geographical phenomena in a cartographic language, scientific knowledge about historical, territorial, architectural, cultural, educational, socio-economic, natural resources, health, quality and urban environmental risks, sanitation and municipal symbols integrated in five chapters: 1. Territorial Evolution 2. Cultural Diversity 3. Natural Resources 4. Socioeconomic Dynamics and 5. Social and Environmental Quality.
It synthesizes a wide range of data to be used for environmental protection purposes, public management and, above all, for the teaching of geography, as a didactic resource for the research of schoolchildren – an approximation of the academy with the school on the municipality of Santo Amaro, Bahia.
