Resumo:
Sensitivity is a highly polysemic word, which receives different meanings in Journalism Studies. Its activation can refer to aspects of Professional Training, Ethics and Deontology, Productive Routines, Narratology, Reception etc. This article focuses on elements in the construction of the narrative in situations of live news coverage, seeking to problematize how the emergence of a new technological tool – Facebook Live – can tension and change the dynamics between production and reception poles. Questions are raised about professional canons that govern the relationships between narrator, source and audience in the journalistic sphere, as well as the 'place of speech' of the journalist and the nature of his technical-symbolic mediation as a "testimoniiuppal self". Ultimately, we seek to perceive effects on the sensitivity of journalists to the nature and circumstances surrounding live image coverage, with the consequent increase in interactivity with ‘network audiences’. Starting from seminal ideas of Antonio Fausto Neto on Journalistic Practice and Sensitivity in media society, the text analyses the O Globo coverage of actions of Armed Forces personnel in the reinforcement of public security in Rocinha (Rio de Janeiro), in September 2017, as an illustrative case study, analyzing lives produced during the event and interviewing professionals involved in the broadcasts.
