The work aims to bring public visibility to the identity and culture fisheries in Gamboa, being developed by a multidisciplinary team of residents who unified practices of Architecture, Urbanism and Design. Through Associação Amigos de Gegê of Gamboa de Baixo Residents and Residents of the demand emerged to emphasize the valorization of the fishing way of life, expand support in the community's struggle and resistance for the regulation of ZEIS 5 and highlight the place as a community tourist spot, given that it has a great potential for tourism, but which must be under the control of the territory and not of the 3rd. For this, the team's technical advisory work had approach to the community, participatory methodologies, survey through of interviews, dialogues and capture of images in the identification of the impact of the culture fisheries in the territory. As a result, cards and posters were created on ZEIS 5, the proposal for signaling the main establishments in the place, the insertion of these places in Google Maps in the sense of thematic maps and, as final product a memorial book summarizing experiences linked to the sea and fishing from Gamboa. From the projects developed, it is expected that they will serve as a public tool so that the locality receives more attention from the civil society and public authorities, both in terms of the impact of fishing on Gamboa and the city of Salvador, as well as this represents the strength that comes from a traditional community, quilombola and linked to fishing. Therefore, obtaining the regulation makes it possible for the government to exercise its obligation to improve housing, staircases and the dignified and fair way of life in Gamboa de Baixo in the city. It is worth mentioning that the community is active in its struggles and its participation in them are fundamental to achieve victories in the processes of your interest.
