Resumo:
O trabalho procura explicar a relação atual entre o homem e a obra de arte, partindo do já clássico conceito de aura de Walter Benjamin, e contrapondo-o ao de mana, empregado na Sociologia das Religiões. A ideia de mana, fenômeno recorrente em várias sociedades, permite reinterpretar em um conjunto coerente vários fenômenos do mundo contemporâneo das artes, tais como a autenticidade dos objetos em produção serial, a difusão das obras e a procura global pelo contato com o original e, de um modo geral, a afeição pelos objetos.

ABSTRACT: This paper try to explain the actual relationship between man and the work of art from the now classic concept of aura of Walter Benjamin, and contrasting it to mana, used in the Sociology of Religion. The idea of mana, recurring phenomenon in many societies, allows reinterpret into a coherent whole the various phenomena of the contemporary world of the arts, such as the authenticity of the objects in serial production, the diffusion of works and general search by contact with the original, and overall, the affection for the objects.
