Resumo:
This paper points at the changes on the paradigms which reveal the crisis of
sovereignty, the central concept of all theoretical and political structure of modernity,
which has its origin and which is supported by the idea of power as a phenomenon
which goes beyond man´s objective reality. The crisis of sovereignty brings to light
the power as a potency which is manifested through the relation between strengths in
the social field. It is this change in perspective that attributes power to historical
concrete vein. And it is in this vein that it is set some authors’ point of view, such as
Arendt,Foucault and Negri.
