This article examines the dis/arrangements between scholars and activists in a study among transgender people, addressing the challenges of common work towards scientific production. From an ecology of practices perspective, the analysis illuminates how the negotiations between the actors, instead of a preliminary phase of the scientific encounter, continuously generates the conditions of possibility for the knowledge grounded in assemblages of these kinds. This frame suggests the actors’ power, while at the same time highlights the analytical poten-tialities of such an approach, given its ethical implications throughout the research.

<description>"Fantasmas existem": a aparição da música de protesto no pagode baiano
Lopes, Maycon Silva
This essay seeks to reflect on the initial phase of the band Fantasmão, and on the discursive innovations produced within the genre known as pagode baiano. Dislocating the negro body as an erotic object through its performance from the stage without choreography (CHAGAS, ANDRADE, LOPES et al., 2009), the group problematizes the social hierarchies based on race. in abdicating erotic discourse and, which characterize this musical genre, Fantasmão crosses marginal categories deriving from black culture and poverty, localizing in the ghetto a dimension of community that seems still further strengthened when it dialogue with other musical genres from "black culture" such as rap and reggae.

The article presents an outlook on 80 brazilian studies on the relations between media, homosexualities, lesbianisms and transvestisms. The intention is to spread and briefly inform what which work talks about, what were some of the conclusions and some authors or theoretical bias that were most used by the researchers. By the end, the authors show some gaps and general characteristics of these studies.

<description>Breves apontamentos sobre a aids de cada um
Lopes, Maycon Silva
Based on experiences and specific observations I analyze in this essay several possibilities of triggering the binary purity/impurity in discourse and prevention practices to HIV. I believe that, while this is fundamental for the conformation of HIV-positive people as threat sources, it updates the association of the epidemic with fear and even death – Images often structuring preventive public health tactics. I also note the contextualization with what we could call risk policies, which, by instituting the control over our sexual relations makes AIDS patients a kind of guilty victim. At the same time, the attempt to change sexual behavior through the rationalization of sex It presents serious limits and generates very variable results, since it distances itself considerably from the erotic imaginary. Finally, I'm afraid how some preventive strategies of the the LGBT movement itself may incur in the reification of this population as a risk group, a distinctive category in the face of the moralization of the AIDS epidemic.
