The present work is a descriptive research that aimed to understand the panorama of Brazilian research related to Cannabis sativa, indexed in the Web of Science, across the dimensions of bibliometric indicators of scientific production and relationship. The study covers nearly 60 years of scientific production, in the period 1966–2024, allowing for the observation of long-term trends, historical ruptures, and moments of scientific inflection. The analysis was conducted from a bibliometric and discursive perspective, seeking to understand how the national academic field has structured its thematic axes, what gaps persist, and how the country's historical, regulatory, and sociocultural context influences these processes. The methodology adopted combined a quantitative bibliometric approach and qualitative analysis. Initially, data collection was carried out in the Web of Science, using the search term "Cannabis sativa," and 249 scientific articles were retrieved, forming the corpus of the analysis. Data processing included descriptive statistics, covering techniques for counting publications, identifying the most productive authors, institutions, journals, dominant research categories, scientific cooperation, keywords, and the temporal evolution of the research. The co-occurrence analysis of keywords was conducted using the VOSviewer software, allowing for the visualization of the main thematic clusters, revealing patterns of concentration and dispersion. In a complementary step, a documentary analysis was applied to the main Collegiate Board Resolutions - RDC of Anvisa, regarding the regulation of Cannabis sativa-derived products, examining their impact on the scientific discourse. The results revealed consistent growth in national scientific production in the domain of Cannabis sativa starting in the 2010. A majority concentration of research was observed in the biomedical areas, especially neurosciences, pharmacology, and clinical, with a lesser presence of sociological, anthropological, legal, and historical studies. This convergence towards neuroscientific themes is a strength in the search for evidence of efficacy and mechanisms of action, particularly of CBD, but simultaneously creates a significant asymmetry by neglecting the social and legal dimensions of the topic, which are essential for a comprehensive public policy. The conclusion points out that the Brazilian scientific development on Cannabis sativa evolves in close dialogue with the regulatory context and the history of criminalization of the plant, which for decades limited the legitimacy and funding of the topic in the academic field. Although there have been significant advances and greater institutional openness after Anvisa's regulatory action, asymmetries in knowledge production and thematic gaps persist, indicating the need for broader, interdisciplinary, and socially situated research agendas that include the Human and Social Sciences for a holistic understanding. The study reinforces that bibliometrics, articulated with discursive and contextual analyses, allows for understanding not only the volume of publications but also the social, historical, and political meanings that shape the science about Cannabis sativa in Brazil, providing subsidies for the redirection of scientific and funding policies.

Ativismo digital antirracismo e a mediação implícita da informação no Twitter: análise da hashtag #VidasNegrasImportam

Gomes, Henriette Ferreira
Digital anti-racism activism represents the struggle against racism in digital spaces and one of
its strategies is the use of hashtags on social media. The hashtag # VidasNegrasImportam
(#BlackLivesMatter, in English) emerged as a repercussion of the Black Lives Matter movement that reverberated in Brazil in the face of the need to specify the voices of black resistance in the context of a country founded on the myth of racial democracy. In the field of Library and Information Science, the hashtag #VidasNegrasImportam is configured as a device for the implicit mediation of information, therefore, it can act to support the construction and updating of information representation instruments, which historically share a hegemonic perspective. Therefore, the general objective of this research was to investigate the use of the implicit information mediation device #VidasNegrasImportam to verify its
mobilizing potential in digital anti-racism activism. To achieve this objective, the specific objectives were to characterize the profile of the users who used the implicit mediation device (#VidasNegrasImportam); identify the types of texts generated from the device; verify if there were proposals for mobilizing actions of the anti-racism movement from the device, as well as to survey and analyze the content of the tweets that were replicated (retweeted) to identify recurring and relevant terms for possible consideration in the representation of information. The research was descriptive, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data collection on Twitter was carried out on November 20, 2021 (National Black Consciousness Day; Dia
Nacional da Consciência Negra, in Portuguese), date that marks, in 2021, 50 years of the first evocative act to November 20 (1971) and the 10 years of the institution of the National Day of Zumbi and Black Consciousness. The data were extracted from the Netlytic tool. After establishing the criteria for delimiting the sample, a corpus of 149 analyzed tweets resulted, with the use of content analysis and discourse analysis techniques. To carry out the research, it was necessary to reflect, in the light of the literature, with a focus on the themes of ethnic-racial relations and information mediation. As a result, it was observed that the engagement with the hashtag was low and there were few effective mobilizing actions of the
anti-racism movement proposed from the use of the hashtag #VidasNegrasImportam.
However, we found that the hashtag can enhance actions of implicit information mediation by helping to choose terms that contribute to taxonomic reparations in the documentary languages of Library and Information Science. Finally, digital anti-racism activism can support the development of explicit information mediation actions that, by occurring in direct interaction with social subjects, have greater power to contribute to the development of social protagonism. Thus, we conclude that the articulation between implicit and explicit information mediation activities, committed to the anti-racism struggle, collaborate for the development of social protagonism among information professionals who must seek new sources of knowledge for their performance, including in social movements and their forms of mobilization on the web, as well as among information users.; El activismo digital antirracista representa la lucha contra el racismo en los espacios digitales y una de sus estrategias está en el uso de hashtags en las redes sociales.

This research aims to understand the perception of scientific journal editors from federal universities in the Brazilian Northeast regarding the editorial infrastructure of the institution where they work and the admission and permanence criteria of journals in the SciELO Brazil Collection. To achieve this objective, the following specific objectives were outlined: a) Identify and characterize the titles of journals of federal universities in the Brazilian Northeast, available on their respective journal portals; b) List the titles of journals from the investigated federal universities that are not indexed in the SciELO Brazil Collection; and c) Analyze the level of agreement/disagreement of editors regarding the admission and permanence criteria of scientific journals in the SciELO Brazil Collection; d) Identify if the publishing houses have basic infrastructure regarding to human and technical resources. The research is characterized as descriptive, in relation to its objectives and survey in relation to the technical procedures adopted and of a qualitative and quantitative nature. In addition to the mapping carried out on the investigated journals, a questionnaire was also applied to 66 journal editors from federal universities in the Brazilian Northeast that have a journal portal –Universidade Federal de Alagoas; Universidade Federal da Bahia; Universidade Federal da
Paraíba; Universidade Federal de Campina Grande; Universidade Federal de Pernambuco;
Universidade Federal do Cariri; Universidade Federal do Ceará; Universidade Federal do Maranhão; Universidade Federal do Piauí; Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia; Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte; Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco; Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido e Universidade Federal de Sergipe. The results showed that 30 (45.4%) editors have “1 to 5 years of experience”, although 9 (13.6%) have been in the position for “More than 10 years”. Regarding infrastructure, 61 (92.4%) editors reported having an “Electronic management system” at the institution where they work as an editor, which helps in the fluidity of the process, however, the results show that these professionals face structural difficulties, such as the absence of “Budget forecast” – 3 (4.5%)
and only 13 (19.6%) editors have a "Normalizer (librarian)" which makes it difficult to maintain the necessary standards for indexing in databases such as SciELO. It was also observed that all respondent editors (100,0%) recognize the importance of the journal where they work being indexed in a database. 49 (74.2%) editors are aware of the SciELO indexing criteria, which demonstrates an interest in improving the quality and competitiveness of journals. Regarding the levels of agreement/disagreement of editors about the criteria for admission and/or permanence in the SciELO Brasil Collection, the results showed that most
of the criteria reached an Average Ranking that alternates between 3.3 - Agreement and above 3.5 - High agreement. However, the criteria for registration of clinical trials; registration of biological reference material and DNA sequence; errata and retractions; citations received in indexes reached an Average Ranking of indifference; disagreement; disagreement; indifference respectively. It is concluded that although the editors investigated recognize the relevance of indexing journals, the limitation of infrastructure, financial and human resources constitute the main obstacles for the journals of the institutions in which they work as editors, to reach quality for admission and permanence in the SciELO Brazil Collection
