Arquivistas e Startups: esse encontro dá match?

Abstract

Esse trabalho busca mapear as habilidades necessárias ao arquivista que deseja trabalhar em uma startup através da experiência de empreendedores da área e pesquisas científicas sobre o assunto. Possui como objetivos a reunião de um conceito teórico sobre o que é o arquivista, desenvolvimento de um panorama sobre o ecossistema de startups, investigação do funcionamento dos processos seletivos e habilidades requeridas pelas startups para contratar um profissional e a identificação de possíveis nichos para a atuação dos arquivistas que possuírem as habilidades descobertas no ecossistema de startups. A pesquisa constitui-se como exploratória e descritiva, com procedimentos de pesquisa bibliográfica e de levantamento. O cenário das startups representa o uso constante de inovação, o que faz o estilo de trabalho ser diferente das empresas tradicionais, e exige do profissional que deseja trabalhar nelas, algumas habilidades. Busca-se nesse trabalho, descobrir quais habilidades são estas e em quais circunstancias estão envolvidas estas contratações, por meio de entrevistas com empreendedores da área, pesquisa nas bases de dados das startups brasileiras e embasamento teórico nas pesquisas científicas. Conclui-se que há algumas habilidades mais procuradas que são citadas pelos empreendedores e trabalhos científicos, onde destacam-se as habilidades não técnicas (soft skills) e a aderência do profissional ao jeito de trabalhar das startups como as características que mais se sobressaem no momento da contratação.

ABSTRACT: This undergraduate thesis seeks to map the skills needed by the archivist who wants to work in a startup through the experience of entrepreneurs of the area and scientific researches on the subject. Its objectives are to gather a theoretical concept about what the archivist is, to develop an overview of the startup ecosystem, to investigate the functioning of the selection processes and skills required by startups to hire a professional and to identify possible niches for the performance of the archivists that have those skills discovered, in the startup ecosystem. The research is constituted as exploratory and descriptive, with bibliographic research and survey procedures. The startups scenario represents the constant use of innovation, which makes the work style different from traditional companies, and requires some skills from the professional who wants to work in them. This work seeks to find out what these skills are and in what circumstances these hires are involved, through interviews with entrepreneurs in the area, research in the databases of Brazilian startups and theoretical basis in scientific research. It is concluded that there are some skills most sought after that are mentioned by entrepreneurs and scientific works, where the non cognitive skills (soft skills) and the adherence of the professional to the way of working of startups stand out as the most significant characteristics when hiring.
