A escritura de Clarice Lispector na interconexão entre literatura e psicanálise

Abstract

Esta dissertação estuda a escrita de Clarice Lispector, com o objetivo de verificar se sua escrita pode ser considerada como a invenção de um sinthoma, tal como proposto por Jacques Lacan para James Joyce. Para atingir este objetivo, foi feito um levantamento dos sentidos dos termos escrito, escritura e de outras palavras relacionadas ao campo semântico do escrever. A fundamentação teórica foi buscada em autores do campo da psicanálise lacaniana e dos estudos literários. Após a realização de um estudo sobre a narrativa e suas mudanças ao longo das épocas, foi trabalhada a função do escrever para Clarice Lispector e feita uma leitura do romance A Paixão segundo GH. As considerações realizadas permitiram levar à proposta de que, mesmo podendo ser considerada uma voz antecipadora do romance contemporâneo, a produção textual realizada por esta autora está além das condições culturais em que viveu, não podendo ser justificada apenas pelas características deste tipo de narrativa. Assim sendo, foi proposto que é possível pensar que a escrita de Clarice Lispector exerceu a função de escritura, possibilitando a articulação do sinthoma.

This thesis studies the writings of Clarice Lispector and its objective is to ascertain whether through her writings she may be considered to have invented the use of a symptom, as proposed by Jacques Lacan with reference to James Joyce. To fulfill this objective, a survey on the meaning of the terms writings, written work, and other words related to the semantic field of writing was carried out. The theoretical mainstay for this thesis was sought in studies of authors in the field of Lacanian psychoanalysis and in literature studies. After carrying out a comprehensive study on narratives and the changes they have undergone throughout the ages, the author went on to consider the function of the writings of Clarice Lispector with particular focus on the novel entitled “The Passion according to GH”. The studies carried out during the elaboration of this essay have permitted the author to draw conclusions proposing that, although the textual production of Clarice Lispector may certainly be considered a precursor of the contemporary novel, it surpasses the cultural conditions in which she lived and cannot be justified simply through the characteristics of this type of narrative. Consequently, this paper proposes that it is possible to consider that the writings of Clarice Lispector perform the function of a unique literary style and justify the use of the term symptom.
