O curso de licenciatura em educação física da UFBA: uma análise da formação acadêmica e do exercício profissional de seu egresso no mundo do trabalho

Abstract

Inserido na linha de pesquisa de Políticas e Gestão da Educação da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal da Bahia (FACED/UFBA), este estudo teve como objetivo principal Identificar a percepção que os egressos têm da interferência dos processos institucionais ocorridos no interior do curso de licenciatura em Educação Física da UFBA sobre a sua formação acadêmica e o seu exercício profissional no mundo do trabalho. Assim, o estudo relacionou o momento histórico da crise epistemológica da Educação Física com a formação profissional na UFBA, tendo como pano de fundo os diversos mecanismos estruturantes da formação, tais como o currículo prescritivo, o sistema de estilos pedagógicos dos docentes, as unidades de ensino, os setores administrativos e o movimento estudantil. Configurado como um Estudo de Caso, investiu seus interesses metodológicos numa unidade de análise, o curso de licenciatura em Educação Física da UFBA. Utilizou-se de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, análise documental e de um questionário digital disponibilizado na Internet, que serviu para a escuta dos principais sujeitos da pesquisa, os egressos das cinco primeiras turmas. Essa investigação detectou um descontentamento generalizado com a estrutura formal do curso representado pela infra-estrutura física das unidades de ensino e pelos conteúdos formais trabalhados no interior das disciplinas, que foram avaliados como parcialmente sintonizados com as demandas do exercício profissional. No entanto, os resultados mostram que parte diminuta dos docentes foi responsável pelas principais marcas do processo de formação acadêmica. Com eles ocorreu um processo de aprendizado muito particular, nas brechas, nas sombras, nos atalhos, enfim, nos descaminhos encontrados para superar as limitações de uma formação que tinha no projeto político-pedagógico uma matriz teórico-filosófica progressista, mas na estrutura curricular das disciplinas, na infra-estrutura física e no quadro docente em geral um modelo de formação de três décadas atrás. Esse mecanismo de intervenção intencionada desse grupo de docentes configurou o que este estudo chamou de currículo marginal na formação. Imagina-se, assim, que esse estudo possa trazer novos elementos para auxiliar futuros processos de reformulação e avaliação curricular deste curso, bem como de quase todos os outros do Estado, tendo em vista a emergência imposta pelas novas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais da Educação Física (DCN/EF) e pelas resoluções 01 e 02/02 do MEC, qual seja a de revogar o Parecer 215/87 e a Resolução 03/87 e conclamar grande parte dos cursos existentes na Bahia a um processo de adequação e/ou de reformulação curricular.

ABSTRACT Housed in the line of research policy and management education in the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Bahia (FACED / UFBA), this study aimed to identify the perception that the graduated have the interference of the institutional processes occurring within the course degree in Physical Education UFBA on their academic and professional pursuit in the world of work. Thus, the study related to the historical moment of epistemological crisis in physical education with vocational training at UFBA, against the background of the various mechanisms structuring the training, such as prescriptive curriculum, the system of teaching styles of teachers, the units education, the administrative sectors and the student movement. Configured as a Case Study, this study invested interests in methodological unit of analysis, the degree course in Physical Education UFBA. We used semi-structured interviews, document analysis and a digital questionnaire available on the Internet, which was used to listening to the main research subjects, the graduates of the first five classes. The investigation found widespread dissatisfaction with the formal structure of the course represented by the physical infrastructure of the schools and the formal content worked within the disciplines that were rated as partially in tune with the demands of professional practice. However, the results show that small part of the teachers was responsible for major brands of academic learning process. With them was a learning process very special in the breaches in the shadows, the shortcuts, etc. in hindsight found to overcome the limitations of a formation that had the political and pedagogical project an array progressive theoretical and philosophical, but the structure of the curriculum disciplines in the physical infrastructure and teaching staff in general a model with three decades ago. This mechanism of action meaning that the faculty set up what this study called marginal curriculum training. One wonders, therefore, that this study can provide new evidence to support future processes of curriculum evaluation and revision of this course, as well as almost every other state, in view of the emergency imposed by the new National Curriculum Guidelines for Physical Education (DCN/EF) and the resolutions 01 and 02/02 of the MEC, which is the repeal of the opinion Resolution 215/87 and 03/87 and call upon the great courses that the Bahia to a process of adaptation and / or curricular reform.
