O papel da fintch no sistema financeiro nacional

Abstract

As FinTechs são startups especializadas que atuam no setor financeiro de maneira inovadora e quase exclusivamente por meio digital, cujo objetivo é fornecer novos produtos que ajudem a melhorar a qualidade dos serviços financeiros no mercado. Esse estudo tem como objetivo analisar o papel das FinTechs no Sistema Financeiro Nacional (SFN). Para dar suporte ao trabalho, foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica, resgatando o pensamento Schumpeteriano. Conclui-se que as FinTechs, aproveitam as janelas de oportunidade que é dada através do empobrecimento da população, utilizando o progresso técnico, para ocupar nichos de mercado, que são negligenciados pelos bancos tradicionais, permitindo a inclusão dos desbancarizados no SFN. No mercado formal, as FinTechs, quando obtêm êxito são internalizadas pelo oligopólio bancário, mantendo a concentração bancária.

FinTechs, are specialized startups that operate in the financial sector in an innovative way and almost exclusively by digital media, whose objective is to provide new products that help to improve the quality of financial services in the market. This study aims to analyze the role of FinTechs in the National Financial System. To support the work, a bibliographic review was made, rescuing the Schumpeterian thought. It is concluded that the FinTechs, take advantage of the windows of opportunity that are given through the impoverishment of the population, using the technical progress, to occupy niche markets, which are neglected by traditional banks, allowing the inclusion of unbanked people in the SFN. In the formal market, the FinTechs, when successful, are internalized by the banking oligopoly, maintaining banking concentration.
