DISCURSOS POTENCIALIZADORES DE VIOLÊNCIAS CONTRA MULHERES NA INTERNET_3

Abstract

O presente trabalho buscou investigar de que modo práticas discursivas potencializam e (re)produzem violências contra mulheres no ciberespaço a partir dos discursos veiculados em imagens, textos, comentários, vídeos, bem como a configuração e os mecanismos das plataformas Facebook e do buscador Google. A análise dos materiais foi embasada com teorias das áreas de Linguística Aplicada Crítica, Análise de Discurso Crítica, Estudos Culturais, Estudos de Gênero, bem como outros campos do conhecimento relevantes para este estudo como a Sociologia e Filosofia. O resultado das análises aponta para o reforço de sistemas classificatórios binários e essencialistas que regem as relações de gênero, tornando as corporeidades e os sujeitos atravessados por discursos deterministas. Este reforço é também garantido a partir dos mecanismos que configuram a rede social Facebook e o buscador Google, sua função mercadológica, opções de curtir, compartilhar, reagir, dentre outros; observamos também que os dados denunciam a precarização dos serviços públicos de saúde e segurança no enfrentamento das violências contra mulheres; a existência de comunidades virtuais, ações e materiais que contribuem para a desconstrução de paradigmas e mentalidades que reforçam a violência às mulheres é fortemente presente, configurando formas de ciberativismo; o hipertexto é um formato que contribui para a quebra de silenciamentos pois que funciona como aglomerado de mídias que amplifica o alcance das informações e dos debates; a representação dos atores sociais como a exemplo de ‘doentes mentais’ contribui para a potencialização das violências contra mulheres pois tenta amenizar ou justificar atos criminosos e violências diversas.

This study investigates how discursive practices potentiate and (re)produce violence against women in cyberspace from the discourses conveyed in images, texts, comments, videos, as well as the configuration and mechanisms of the Facebook social network and the Google Search. The analysis of the materials was based on theories of Critical Applied Linguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, as well as other fields of knowledge that were relevant to this study such as Sociology and Philosophy. The results of the analysis points to the strengthening of binary and essentialist classificatory systems that govern gender relations, making corporeities and subjects crossed by deterministic discourses. This reinforcement is also guaranteed by the mechanisms that format the social network Facebook and the Google Search engine, its marketing function, options such as ‘like’, ‘share’, the reactions, among others; we also note that the data denounce the precariousness of public health and safety services in dealing with violence against women; the existence of virtual communities, actions and materials that contribute to the deconstruction of paradigms and mentalities that reinforce violence against women is strongly present in cyberspace, configuring forms of cyber-activism; the hypertext is a format that contributes to the breakdown of silencings because it functions as a cluster of media that amplifies the reach of information and debates; the representation of social actors as the example of the 'mentally ill' contributes to the potentialization of violence against women as it attempts to soften or justify many types of criminal acts and violence.
