Abstract: This article evaluates Bahia's current port infrastructure and its prospects, highlighting its significant cargo movement with evidence of a necessary expansion of capacity, given its high utilization rate. This port site, made up of ten terminals and ports, is predominantly in the Bay of All Saints, a natural port, and is one of the most important waterway support clusters in Brazil. It reveals the advantages of its waterways and the limitations of road and rail modes aimed at serving the supply chain of these facilities. Contributing to the analysis of capacity expansion options, it presents a mathematical model of queuing theory with the aim of evaluating the current state of the queue of ships at its only container terminal (TECON), using the QSB+ software, as&#xD;

well as the recommendation from the Bahia Port Users Association – USUPORT, which proposes the construction of a new terminal, expanding its current installed capacity by almost five times. The results of this modeling also reveal the limitations of this proposal, both from the point of view of the impact generated on the current Port of Salvador and its surroundings, as well as the significant increase in gaseous emissions (NOx) to be generated.

Abstract: Brazil needs to expand and diversify its Electrical Matrix in order to preserve the&#xD;
national energy security and its renewable predominance. This is possible through coherent energy planning, adequate public policies and new investments. Renewable energies are consolidating as alternatives for energy diversification in the&#xD;
world. Based on this, this work is an study on the new renewable energies and&#xD;
the electric sector in Brazil and Bahia. It assesses supply/demand scenarios for&#xD;
electricity from 2013 to 2050, with emphasis on the growth potential of the centralised power generation by new renewable sources (Wind, Solar Photovoltaic&#xD;
and Bioelectricity) in Electrical Matrix of Bahia and considering some indicators of&#xD;
sustainability of these energies.

Abstract: This work presents a multi-objective method based on goal programming associated with non-Archimedean&#xD;
infinitesimal (NAI) (Improved Weighted Goal Programming method, input-oriented IWGP-MCDEA-BCC).The MCDEA is applied for the first time in a large agricultural company (over 11 hectares). A new method is&#xD;
proposed which consists of an improvement on input-oriented WGP-MCDEA-BCC approaches.&#xD;
Research method: The performance of the proposed method was compared to the classic Data Envelopment Analysis&#xD;
and the Weighted sum Goal Programming methods. The case study comprises an agricultural company located in the&#xD;
São Francisco Valley (Brazil).
