      <title>Análise Cognitiva da Libras no Currículo do Ensino Fundamental Numa Perspectiva Multirreferencial</title>
      <link>https://repositorio.ufba.br/handle/ri/44250</link>
      <description>Título: Análise Cognitiva da Libras no Currículo do Ensino Fundamental Numa Perspectiva Multirreferencial
Autor(es): Santos, Jaci Leal Pereira dos
Primeiro Orientador: Barreto, Maria Raidalva Nery
Abstract: Cette recherche propose l'analyse cognitive de la Libras et la possibilité d'inclure ce&#xD;
composant dans les programmes du primaire des écoles publiques, étant donné que&#xD;
les élèves sourds sont inscrits dans des classes majoritairement composées&#xD;
d'entendants et qu'aucune stratégie pédagogique ne leur est présentée pour&#xD;
permettre l'apprentissage de la langue des signes et de la langue portugaise écrite&#xD;
dans la même proportion que celles présentées aux entendants. À cet effet, on prend&#xD;
comme base le problème suivant : comment est organisé le curriculum d'une école&#xD;
primaire qui inscrit un élève sourd et comment envisage-t-on les possibilités de&#xD;
construction des connaissances et d'inclusion dans un contexte de surdité? Dans ce&#xD;
sens, le travail se base sur le référentiel bibliographique, documentaire et, comme&#xD;
stratégies méthodologiques, le journal de terrain, la recherche bibliographique,&#xD;
l'analyse documentaire, et comme méthode d'analyse la pédagogie des sourds,&#xD;
selon les principes suivants : la valorisation de l'expérience visuelle, en raison du fait&#xD;
que la langue des signes est une langue de l'espace visuel, la centralité de la langue&#xD;
des signes et la reconnaissance de l'identité et de la culture sourdes. La proposition&#xD;
présentée privilégie l'éducation inclusive et a pour objectif d'analyser la construction&#xD;
et la structuration du Projet Politique Pédagogique (PPP) de deux écoles de la&#xD;
municipalité de Catu qui inscrivent des personnes sourdes dans un contexte de&#xD;
surdité, en vérifiant si les propositions pédagogiques garantissent les droits aux&#xD;
différences, et à partir de l'analyse, suggérer l'inclusion de la Libras comme&#xD;
composante curriculaire. Nous présentons comme objectifs spécifiques : construire&#xD;
des informations sur le contexte historique, social et scientifique de la personne&#xD;
sourde à partir de tableaux imagés depuis la Grèce antique jusqu'aux époques&#xD;
actuelles ; discuter de l'importance du curriculum inclusif pour une école qui accueille&#xD;
des personnes sourdes et le profil de cette institution ; conceptualiser les documents&#xD;
normatifs éducatifs comme support pour le PPP d'une école et comprendre&#xD;
l'approche de l'inclusion et de l'éducation spéciale ; comprendre le processus&#xD;
d'inclusion et élaborer des approches sur les technologies éducatives et les&#xD;
technologies d'assistance (TA) comme support pour une éducation inclusive, en&#xD;
montrant les contributions à la diffusion des connaissances en vue de la&#xD;
Multiréférentialité ; vérifier la structuration des documents directeurs éducatifs, pour&#xD;
comprendre les approches et pratiques enseignantes, en vue de la méthodologie et&#xD;
de la méthode d'analyse, comprenant comment ces documents traitent l'éducation&#xD;
spéciale, l'éducation inclusive et la pédagogie des sourds, à partir de la conception&#xD;
théorique de Andrade (2013), Jannuzzi (1986, 2004), Mazzotta (1996), Reily (2004),&#xD;
Martinez (1995), Perlin et Strobel (2008a, 2008b), Capovilla (2000). Avec les&#xD;
résultats de cette analyse, un Guide d'Orientation a été construit comme un outil&#xD;
technologique d'instruction pour aider l'école et la communauté scolaire dans la&#xD;
révision, la restructuration et/ou la réélaboration de son PPP, en adaptant le plan de&#xD;
travail des écoles aux fondements de la Pédagogie des Sourds parallèlement aux&#xD;
thèmes de l'Éducation Spéciale, de l'Éducation inclusive, dans le domaine de la&#xD;
&#xD;
surdité. D'où la nécessité de penser comme le curriculologue Roberto Sidnei Macedo&#xD;
(2017) à une « proposition curriculaire multiréférentielle », pensant ainsi aux «&#xD;
multiples justices ». À cette fin, on attend comme résultat de la recherche la&#xD;
conception d'une proposition curriculaire dans laquelle les réseaux d'enseignement à&#xD;
différents niveaux et modalités mobilisent comme instrument qui servira à la&#xD;
reformulation des curricula des institutions abordant l'éducation spéciale dans la&#xD;
perspective de l'éducation inclusive et pour répondre aux objectifs spécifiques, il est&#xD;
prévu de présenter le Guide Pratique pour la réélaboration du PPP comme ressource&#xD;
méthodologique facilitant l'apprentissage et concrétisant le respect des diversités et&#xD;
des différences.

Abstract: The ornamental horticulture value chain has been expanding in Brazil, and one of the factors contributing to this growth is the country’s climatic conditions, which favor cultivation. Over the past five years, there has been significant growth in flower production in most Brazilian states, with particular emphasis on the Northeast Region. This scenario has led governments, civil society, and the private sector—especially those linked to family-based production—to view Geographical Indications (GIs) as an important tool in territorial development projects. The general objective of this research was to establish the notoriety of temperate-climate flowers and ornamental plants produced in Maracás, in the semi-arid region of Bahia, Brazil. The research problem sought to identify the factors that confer notoriety on local production, based on the hypothesis that flowers and ornamental plants cultivated in Maracás/BA have sufficient notoriety to be registered as a GI. In addition to the theoretical framework, the epistemological foundations were based on Michael Polanyi’s concepts of tacit and explicit knowledge and Milton Santos’ notion of the “used territory.” Regarding the methodological approach, this is an exploratory study of a qualitative and quantitative nature, employing a single case study. Data collection techniques included bibliographic and documentary analysis, field research, and the application of semi-structured questionnaires using the Delphi method and an intensity scale. The spatial scope comprised the municipality of Maracás, located in the Vale do Jiquiriçá Identity Territory, 367 km from Salvador, in the state of Bahia. The research received approval from the Research Ethics Committee. The results demonstrate that the cultivation and production of flowers and ornamental plants in Maracás/BA constitute a territorial asset of significant economic, cultural, and social relevance, recognized within the Vale do Jiquiriçá Identity Territory as a constitutive element of regional identity. The investigation showed that the notoriety of these products goes beyond the economic dimension, being associated with the construction and diffusion of tacit and explicit knowledge among producers, the preservation of traditional know-how, and the articulation of the territory as a socially constructed space. Additionally, the findings indicate that Maracás has high potential for the recognition of the first Geographical Indication for flowers and ornamental plants in Brazil. Data analysis revealed a high degree of consensus among experts, the predominance of experienced producers, generational diversity, gender balance, and a high level of education. The notoriety of production is corroborated by publications, awards, and institutional recognition, as well as by the existence of formally structured productive organizations qualified to apply for registration with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). Continuous participation in fairs and events over nearly three decades has consolidated Maracás as a regional hub for floral production, reinforcing the feasibility of the GI application.

      <title>Difusão do conhecimento em língua de sinais por meio de tradução de informações de mapas geográficos para aplicativo digital</title>

Abstract: The research addressed the dissemination of cultural and linguistic knowledge through the translation of cartographic information into sign writing within a technological application. Its objective was to investigate whether translating cartographic knowledge for its diffusion in digital media and exposing deaf and hearing individuals to a world map as a didactic resource—presented in a mobile application with information displayed in sign writing and Portuguese—could contribute to the teaching and learning of toponyms in sign language and, consequently, to the learning of toponyms in other spoken or signed languages and educational content involving cartography. The study was justified by the fact that deaf people face barriers in receiving information in language-related subjects when cultural content and geographical vocabulary are presented in unfamiliar signs and in written Portuguese. Methodologically, it was an exploratory and descriptive study, based on content analysis, interviews with deaf and hearing participants, and the application of evaluative instruments in a Control Group and an Experimental Group. The experimental group used the digital resource developed in this research (the application and maps in sign writing), while the control group relied solely on maps in Portuguese. Qualitative analyses were also carried out on the participants’ perceptions regarding the use of sign writing and the application, as well as quantitative comparisons between the groups’ performances. Statistical results indicated that the group using bilingual digital maps (written Libras and Portuguese) performed better than the Control Group, although the difference was not as large as initially expected. The interviews highlighted the relevance of bilingual presentation of toponyms, despite many participants’ limited familiarity with sign writing and difficulties in reading Portuguese. Furthermore, the importance of Google My Maps as a collaborative tool was emphasized, as it enabled deaf students to create and explore their own maps, enhancing autonomy and information assimilation. It is concluded that the thesis was confirmed: translating cartographic information into sign writing, combined with the development of a digital application, constitutes a didactic resource capable of promoting the learning of cultural, geographical, and linguistic content by both deaf and hearing individuals, in accordance with the principles of universal design and communicational accessibility. The results reinforce the need for continued research on assistive technologies using sign writing, as well as for public policies that encourage their dissemination and social appropriation.

      <title>Análise crítica da metodologia experimental e da produção científica em radiobiologia de baixas doses: uma avaliação quantitativa e paradigmática</title>

Abstract: Contemporary civilization has rendered exposure to ionizing radiation acceptable, commonplace, and even advisable. Its applications are widespread in medicine, industry, agriculture, and nuclear energy, providing undeniable benefits such as cancer treatment and medical imaging diagnostics. However, catastrophic events like Chernobyl and Fukushima, along with the wartime use in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, demonstrate its potentially devastating risks. The scientific community remains divided regarding carcinogenic risk models for low-level radiation exposure. Carcinogenic risk models differ when it comes to low levels of exposure. The Linear No-Threshold model assumes a continuously increasing risk of harm with increasing dose, regardless of how small the dose is, whereas the linear-quadratic model proposes a biphasic effect—beneficial at low doses and harmful at high doses—with a defined threshold. Despite undeniable technological advances, radiobiology remains at a crossroads between these competing models, due in part to the low reproducibility of scientific experiments. This thesis aims to critically investigate the methods and variables used in experiments within the field of low-dose radiobiology, as well as the scientific dissemination of their findings. A scoping review and bibliometric analysis were employed as methodological tools. The results indicate a strong diversity of independent variables and investigated effects; the field appears to be heavily influenced by a small number of authors who form an epistemic community.
