<description>Título: Os anos dourados do capitalismo: uma tentativa de harmonização entre as classes
Autor(es): Balanco, Paulo Antônio de Freitas; Pinto, Eduardo Costa
Abstract: This article examines the golden years accumulation's standard of capitalism, to intend point out them as resulted of the dialectic process of laws of movement and reproduction of the value. In this direction, the economic, cultural and institutional transformations, that granted certain benefits to the working class, materialized in golden years of the capitalism, functioned like capital’s defensive strategies because the domination crisis provoked, in great measure, for the laborer anti-systemic offensive, mainly after Russian revolution. Such strategies centered in the keynesian-fordism commitment and in the Welfare State were said searched to harmonize the contradiction between the social classes. However, this contradiction continued alive, but disguised by the social control instruments.

<description>Título: Padrão de acumulação, Estado e políticas econômicas no Brasil: da República Velha ao governo provisório e constitucional de Vargas
Autor(es): Pinto, Eduardo Costa; Balanco, Paulo Antônio de Freitas
Abstract: This article aims to (i) analyze some constitutive elements of both the accumulation pattern in effect during the Old Republic (1889-1930) and the new pattern established during the 1930s, during Vargas' first government (1930-1937); and (ii) present the general outlines of the old and new configurations of the State and its economic policies in the aforementioned periods. To this end, the theoretical framework of sectoral and social (dis)articulation – a little-known and underutilized tool – was used, which can enable the analysis of the relationship between political and economic elements.

<description>Título: O ajuste estrutural brasileiro dos anos 90: a ampliação da desarticulação setorial e social

Abstract: Among Latin American countries, Brazil was one of the last to replace the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) Import Substitution Model (ICS) with a liberal "development" model, structured around "macroeconomic prudence," microeconomic liberalization, and external orientation. The difficulty in transitioning to the new development model, after the exhaustion of the ICS during the 1980s, more specifically during the government of José Sarney (1985-1989), originated in the lack of definitions or articulations among the national capitalist factions (industrial, commercial, agrarian, and financial) regarding the axis to be followed by dependent Brazilian capitalism.

<title>O estágio último do capital: a crise e a dominação do capital financeiro no mundo</title>

<description>Título: O estágio último do capital: a crise e a dominação do capital financeiro no mundo
Autor(es): Nóvoa, Jorge; Balanco, Paulo Antônio de Freitas
Abstract: Within the scope of this article, we have analyzed the various elements of the wave of transformations that have occurred within the global capitalist economy in recent decades. These transformations resulted from counter-trend measures aimed at blocking and overcoming the structural crisis stemming from the exhaustion of long-term growth in the post-World War II era. Contradictorily, while the changes introduced proved to be powerful innovative levers in the productive and financial spheres, they also carried profoundly regressive content. Capitalism has been profoundly transformed, but without the consolidation of a new solid base to increasingly remunerate large capital, replacing the cycle that ended in the early 1970s. "Underdeveloped" and "emerging" countries reproduce, with some specificities, these contradictions under the domination of finance capital. Consequently, the new model of capitalist reproduction in the present time exhibits visible limitations. It prolongs the organic crisis that unfolds into regressions threatening the destinies of humanity, but not without creating new bases for an anti-capitalist overcoming.
