Abstract: Although there are different barriers to accessing information that affect the general public on the internet, university students seem to encounter fewer obstacles to their inclusion in the digital realm. Interactions in virtual social media groups allow these individuals to access a wide range of data in different areas without mediation, quickly and effectively. User autonomy and flexibility of use are determined by the users themselves, whether as senders or receivers. Additionally, these platforms enable social interaction experiences with a variety of formats and levels of formality, creating space for new types of personal and group relationships. Thus, the aim of this study was to understand the motivations driving the internal community of the Federal University of Bahia - UFBA, to seek information and promote engagement in a non-institutional social media profile. The work is presented in the format of a collection of scientific articles with methodological approaches inspired by netnography. As a mixed-methods research, qualitative and quantitative data were considered from an exploratory descriptive research perspective. Strategically, a case study methodology was used, focusing on the research corpus, the followers of the @seliganaufba profile on the Instagram virtual social network. Data production included systematic literature reviews based on the Prisma protocol. Additionally, a structured questionnaire was administered, with objective questions, Likert scale, and open-ended questions, answered by 154 page followers. For the analysis of open-ended questions, the Atlas.ti software was used for interpretive analysis. The results of this research emphasize the importance of effective communication in the university environment, highlighting the need to use both institutional and non-institutional communication channels, such as virtual social media. The analysis of the @seliganaufba profile on Instagram reveals its significant influence on the academic community, providing information in an accessible and direct manner. The study demonstrates that, in an increasingly technology-dependent scenario, responsible use of information sharing tools is essential for popularization among university students. Non-institutionalized profiles that speak the language of the target audience play a fundamental role in disseminating important information to the academic community. These channels not only facilitate access to information but also promote a more direct and personal connection among the community, creating an environment of collaboration and mutual support.

Abstract: In this research, we aim to understand, through the perceptions of undergraduate students at the Teacher Training Center of the Federal University of Recôncavo Bahia/UFRB, how the actions carried out by the extension programs: Pet Afirmação, Poéticas Periféricas, and Cafuné impact or do not impact their academic formation. Both programs have as their main objective to foster discussions on Ethnic-Racial issues within the context of extension activities. In university settings, extension actions with themes related to race and blackness have proven to be essential for dialogues and educational development. In the case of a Teacher Training Center, this dialogue becomes even more crucial. However, it is important to understand how their development has facilitated these exchanges and how they have reached the student body of the center. In this vein, this research takes a qualitative approach. For this purpose, an exploratory field research was conducted. To comprehend the students' perceptions, we used semi-structured interviews conducted with 8 students, one from each course at the center, each in different semester periods. Additionally, as a means of delimiting the programs involved, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the three program coordinators. This research allows us to understand how extension activities at the Teacher Training Center have been developed, how these actions have been guided, and how they have impacted the student community at the center. It also suggests pathways for Ethnic-Racial Relations education that may emerge through the actions offered by programs and projects engaged in racial discussions within academic spaces.

Abstract: There is no longer a single, white face representing students who access higher education in Brazil. Visibly more black, indigenous and trans people have access to higher education, which today is more inclusive and diverse. However, even though Law No. 12,711/2012, which established quotas, had not foreseen that gypsy people would be a beneficiary segment, we can say that, among the repercussions of the process of democratization of access to higher education in the country that occurred in the first years of the 21st century, the presence of gypsies in higher education institutions is currently observed. Qualitative in nature, the research uses the Narrative Review as a method in the first session, to contribute to the understanding of what is the situation of gypsy people in Brazilian higher education? Its objective is to present an overview, mapping the Universities and Higher Education Institutions that currently promote affirmative policies aimed at Roma People. Based on interdisciplinarity, the concept of affirmative actions is used to weave critical narrative reflections, pointing to the need to expand this device. It points to the need for other actors/authors, preferably other gypsies, to be able to critically narrate the scope, gaps, and practical applicability of affirmative policies, a fundamental strategy for the process of gypsyization of universities and institutes of higher education in Brazil, presenting a mapping of HEIs and PPGs that promote them for the benefit of gypsies. We consider, in the second part of the work, that the history of the circus in Brazil would not be the same without the contribution of the Gypsy People. This is presented through the overlap between different elements: the canvases, the philosophies, the symbols, the ways of organization and life, the characteristics and traditions of these two worlds. Thus, the research also narrates the educational itinerancy of a gypsy student of the circus tradition from an autoethnographic point of view to answer another question: what are the dilemmas that a gypsy student faces in higher education? In the arena, the dilemmas of gypsy students in higher education are reflected; and the challenges that face them on this itinerary are understood, as specific objectives of the number. I lift the circus tents, I designate the gypsy people with a circus tradition as “gypsies”, to illuminate the history of the circus alluded to the Gypsy People. The voice here is that of a gypsy student from a circus family tradition, whose educational trajectory is the result of affirmative actions. I therefore assume the role of defender of this reparation policy, as well as the creation of new political and pedagogical strategies, which do not move away, but rather do not approach the educational environment as in a circus show. Abstract: Due to the configuration of current social development, guided by the speed and ease of dissemination of information and knowledge, the traditional teaching model has become increasingly obsolete. In relation to Biology Degree courses, there is a predominance of a dichotomous formation, due to the reproduction of fragmented content, normally decontextualized from reality, as well as a greater influence of technical-specific components in comparison to didactic-pedagogical ones, making it necessary for universities review the relationship they establish with the process of building knowledge in an innovative way. The general objective of this research is to investigate which concepts have supported discussions about pedagogical and curricular innovation in the Brazilian context of the Biology Degree and their relevance to the area. The specific objectives are: to investigate the conceptions and relevance that have been attributed to pedagogical innovation in the Brazilian context of the Biology Degree and, to identify the conceptions and relevance of curricular innovation in studies on the topic in the Brazilian context of the Biology Degree. The methodological path was based on a qualitative and exploratory approach, based on bibliographical research. The theoretical basis of the study is based on concepts relating to different types of innovation in education. The relevance of the study topic is elucidated through the emerging educational scenario of universities, in which there has been a confrontation between the dichotomies that until then founded these spaces, generating an institutional crisis, making it necessary to rethink the idea of university in an innovative and emancipatory way. The results indicate that there are few articles published on pedagogical innovation and curricular innovation in the area of Biology Degree, in the Brazilian context and that innovation is a conceptually complex and polysemic theoretical field, which responds both to the context in which it is inserted, and to the conceptual point of view of the author who discusses it. Or, even, many works focusing on innovation that did not present the concept that was supporting the study.
