Abstract: This article presents the theme of literary curation based on observing events known as literary fairs and festivals. It aims to interpret the conditions under which these events are formulated and realized as spaces for promoting reading and literature, in the light of the field of Librarianship. Exploratory in nature, the study’s methodology includes the documentary analysis of reports on events held between 2016 and 2023, and the apprehension of the meanings of the uses of the concept of literary curation, based on the interpretation of questionnaires applied to curators. The results highlight the importance of literary curation in reading mediation, emphasizing the need for greater knowledge about literature and the integration of different artistic expressions at events. The conclusions point to the concept of literary curation as a process that involves the analysis, selection, and organization of literary works, promoting public interaction with literature, and the relevance of library science training for the practice of curation, suggesting that collaboration between these fields can strengthen cultural public policies and the promotion of reading.

Abstract: The need to satisfy demands for accurate and reliable information has been one of the concerns of information units today. This has led to the use of management documents to outline strategies for improving the way in which user requests are met. The aim of this article is to analyse how collection management reports contribute to the decision-making process related to the organization and control of physical and digital collections, with a view to adequately satisfying user needs in terms of searching for and accessing information. The research is characterized as descriptive and documentary, and uses the case study method, based on the technique of direct and participant observation, at the Julieta Carteado Central Library, part of the Integrated Library System of the State University of Feira de Santana-Bahia. Its sample is the
Pergamum System report 14 - List of materials read that were not loaded in the initial definition of the inventory parameters, which presents data on how the materials in the collection are available in the system, and should be located on the shelves by users. The results show the importance of continuous analysis of management reports, as they make it possible to compare the data presented by the system with the physical reality of the collection, reflecting its organization and control in practice. Therefore, it
is essential for assertive decision-making to constantly check the use and effectiveness of the fields filled in the reports, in order to promote the effective use of resources by the academic community.

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present information literacy practices developed by
the school library with high school students. To this end, we sought to conceptualize the term
"information literacy" and its relationship with "educational literacy", in order to identify the
challenges and possibilities encountered by schools and libraries in the pedagogical process,
with regard to the use of information. The discussion is based on specialized literature in the
fields of Library Science and Pedagogy. The methodology used was a systematic literature
review, based on an analysis of articles retrieved from the Reference Database of Articles
and Journals in Information Science. The analysis showed that information literacy practices
developed through a library and school partnership, such as workshops, lectures, guided
research and educational websites, among other actions, are fundamental for training
students who are competent in the critical use of information.
