Abstract: PURPOSE: To identify the vocal demand in teachers during the pandemic in the ERE
and after REP. METHODS: Multicenter, observational, cross-sectional, descriptive,
and exploratory study, with teachers of Basic Education in the cities of Belo Horizonte,
Campinas, Salvador and São Paulo. The project was registered under CAAE nº
35899020.6.1001.5662 and approved by the Ethics in Research Committees of the
institutions involved. We applied an online semi-structured questionnaire, available on
GoogleForms, during the ERT and RCI, containing socio-demographic data, use of
masks, work environment, besides the protocols Vocals Grade Quantity Discounts
Speech and Voice protocols and Conditions of Vocal Production of Teachers. The data
were analyzed descriptively, using measures of central tendency and dispersion
(STATA 13.0). RESULTS: 332 teachers participated in the survey, in the ERT (n=263)
and in the RCI (n=69). The sociodemographic profile was predominantly female
(ERT=87.8%; RCI=79.7%), self-declared white (ERT=40.6%; CI=39.1%), married
(ERT=57.7%) and separated (RCI=63.7%), post-graduated (ERT=70.3%;
RCI=79.7%), with a mean age of 45.5(9) years. The teachers participating in the ERT
were mostly from the city of São Paulo (44.4%), in the RCI the majority was from
Salvador (34.7%), with mean ERT=19.3(19.6) and RCI=17.73(8.9) years of work as a
teacher. They reported a noisy work environment (ERT=54.3%; RCI=50.7%), and this
noise was strong (ERT=59.3%; RCI=47.8%), and with the presence of dust
(ERT=41.1%; RCI=49.3%). They reported vocal alterations (ERT=47.9%;
RCI=52.2%), without current treatment (ERT=49.8%; RCI=46.4%). As for the GQFIV,
regarding the habitual voice, the teachers had a mean in the ERT=5.0(1.5) and
RCI=5.3(1.3) for amount of speech; ERT=3.9(2) and RCI=4.8(1.3), for vocal intensity.
Regarding the voice in the work environment, the means increased, being
ERT=5.7(1.2) and RCI=5.8(1.1) for speech and ERT=5.3(1.4) and 5.4(1) for voice.
CONCLUSION: The results show that in both moments, ERT and RCI, teachers faced
a high vocal demand, both for speech and voice intensity, especially at work.

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the perception of professionals from the Núcleo Ampliado de Saúde da Família (NASF) of the Distrito Sanitário do Subúrbio Ferroviário
de Salvador regarding the relationship between racism and health. It is an exploratory and qualitative study in which six professionals were interviewed between March
and May 2021. The collected data were analyzed using Content Analysis. The findings suggest a broader understanding of professionals concerning the link between
racism and health, which breaks with the myth of racial democracy in health. In the
daily work at NASF, the results point to a greater emphasis on perceiving this process in the context of interpersonal relationships. As the structural relations of racism
also have an impact on the organization of the health system, the results indicate the
importance of a comprehensive understanding of structural racism.

Abstract: STRACT
The social practices of reading and writing constitute the individual and his critical
involvement in society, making it possible to signify the world that surrounds him. Thus,
it is important to think of mechanisms that can encourage such literacy practices with
the deaf person and that promote the learning of written Portuguese. However, factors
such as delay in language acquisition and teaching methodology interfere in this
process. This research was carried out with the objective of knowing the experiences
of the deaf person with literacy practices in Portuguese, relating them to language. The
study has a qualitative approach, using an online interview as an instrument for
generating data. 10 participants were reached and data analysis was carried out in an
interpretative way. The results presented in the study demonstrate the relationship
established between late contact with the first language (L1) and the formal literacy
process. In addition, it is observed that other factors, such as the family environment
with little interaction and limited social practices, also affected the process. It is
important to respect the linguistic uniqueness of the deaf person and the adequacy of
teaching methodologies, which also implies qualified teachers who understand
Portuguese as a second language for deaf students. The relevance of a linguistically
rich family environment to promote the development of deaf children and literate social
practices is highlighted. In addition, it is necessary to recognize in the educational
environment the role

Caracterização da conduta fonoaudiológica no atendimento a mulheres vítimas de violência de gênero

Título: Caracterização da conduta fonoaudiológica no atendimento a mulheres vítimas de violência de gênero

Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Gender violence has been a recurring theme in health care and services. In these
cases, the facial region becomes a target because the aggressor can clearly visualize the sensation of
pain. The specific therapy proved to be efficient and, therefore, the speech therapist is one of the
important professionals in providing care in these cases. During the entire intervention process, it can
help identify cases and provide an opportunity to understand the family dynamics in which the issue of
violence may be present. Therefore, this work aims to characterize the speech therapy conduct in
assisting victims in the context of gender violence. METHOD: The methodological design adopted for this
study was organized in stages. The first step was through a literature review. The second stage included
the discussion and elaboration of a research instrument - questionnaire. The third step was through the
application of the research instrument and from this questionnaire a descriptive analysis of the data was
carried out using absolute (n) and relative (%) frequencies, measures of central tendency (mean and
median) and dispersion (standard deviation, minimum and maximum values). RESULTS: In the literature
review stage, no articles were found that dealt with the researched theme. Therefore, in the next stage of
construction of the instrument, two articles found in other areas of health were used as guides. Finally, in
the data collection stage, from the answers obtained, 24.5% of speech therapists provided assistance to
victims of gender violence. Most consultations took place in clinics (61.5%) and after the victim was
evaluated by other professionals, 30.8% of the professionals mentioned that when there is suspicion of
facial trauma in the context of violence against women, the judicial bodies should be notified and the
Ministry of Health. It is also verified that 23% indicated no specific conduct. Of the 13 professionals who
answered that they would call the competent bodies when there is gender violence, 37.5% answered the
alternative “delegations, police and dial 180”. CONCLUSION: The identification, notification and
denunciation of these cases proved to be insufficient, which may allow the perpetuation of the cycle of
violence. It is necessary that the theme be included in the training process of professionals.
