The librarian Marília Lessa (Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia/IFBAIANO) interviewed Thalita Gama (librarian Federal University of Rio de Janeiro/UNIRIO). The interviewee created the company Santa Biblioteconomia with the objective of helping people who apply for competitions in the area, thus giving tips for competitions, offering free content, providing courses and handouts, in addition to teaching classes in face-to-face and online courses. Thalita Gama evaluated the job market in the area of ​​Librarianship and believes that the public service is the main employer for librarians, gave tips to undergraduate students interested in taking exams for public examinations, highlighted that studying and obtaining approval is a medium-term project long-term. She analyzed the contest landscape at the time of the pandemic and advocated for librarian empowerment.

Live mediated by Prof Dr Maria Isabel Barreira (ICI / UFBA). During the presentation, Dr. Fernanda Xavier Guimarães (librarian at SIBI/UFBA) highlighted points of her research to compose her doctoral thesis. The problem questions how the stricto sensu postgraduate courses of the Postgraduate Programs in Information Science (IC) have trained professors for higher education. Programs belonging to universities located in the 5 regions of Brazil and the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBCT) were analyzed. The analysis followed pre-established criteria. Fernanda Xavier Guimarães ended her speech by exposing some results and considerations arising from the research, such as: the need to reformulate the curricular structure of the courses, inefficient content for teacher training, lack of pedagogical training, among others.

Live mediated by Me. Patrícia Barroso, librarian at SIBI/UFBA. Dr. Bruna Lessa (professor at ICI/UFBA) presented points from her doctoral research, based on the context of the new channels of scientific communication. She mentioned some terms to be taken into account in this theme, which were: scientific field, scientific production, scientific dissemination and scientific communication. The teacher explained about the scientific field - the place where scientific communication begins, for it to be complete, the following elements are necessary: ​​link with research institutions, support for maintaining research groups, means of transmission for dissemination of scientific production. When talking about communication channels, she highlighted informal channels. She referred to the revolution that took place in informal communication channels in the 19th century. XX, the inclusion of social media and in the century. XXI, the online academic social networks that enable the diffusion and dissemination of scientific communication. Bruna Lessa related scientific communication with librarianship practices of knowledge representation, mediation, in addition to emphasizing the relevance of identifying emerging concepts for research institutions.
