Abstract: This article aims to describe the interrelationships between student assistance and&#xD;
mental health care promotion strategies for university students at Brazilian Federal Higher&#xD;
Education Institutions (IFES). Methodologically, this is a qualitative, descriptive, and&#xD;
exploratory study developed through an integrative literature review. Articles published in&#xD;
the last five years (2019-2024) in Portuguese and English, available in the BVS-Psi, Lilacs,&#xD;
CAPES Journals, and SciELO databases, were selected. The search terms included the&#xD;
descriptors "student assistance," "mental health," and "well-being," resulting in the selection&#xD;
and analysis of 18 studies, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results reveal&#xD;
a complex and multifaceted scenario in the implementation of student assistance actions&#xD;
and programs focused on student mental health, also highlighting the challenges that&#xD;
compromise the effectiveness of these initiatives. Therefore, the need for coordinated&#xD;
actions between university administrators and student organizations is highlighted, as well&#xD;
as the strengthening of mental health care strategies and intersectoral assistance, with a&#xD;
view to promoting students' biopsychosocial well-being and consolidating a healthy and&#xD;
supportive academic culture.

Abstract: The academic experience in Psychology, composed of five dimensions, refers to&#xD;
the set of experiences and socio-emotional aspects experienced by students during their career&#xD;
at the University. From this perspective, this quantitative, cross-sectional, exploratory&#xD;
analytical study aimed to carry out a survey and describe the dimensions of the academic&#xD;
experience of undergraduates on the campuses of the Federal University of Bahia in 2021. Data&#xD;
collection consisted of the application of the instruments: Questionnaire Socioeconomic-&#xD;
demographic and the Academic Experiences Questionnaire in its reduced version (QVA-r),&#xD;
with a 5-point Likert scale. As a result, 509 undergraduates participated in this study, 367&#xD;
(71.2%) female and 142 (27.9%) male, with an average age of 24.06 years (SD=6.56). The&#xD;
results also show, after being subjected to quantitative analyses, that the Career dimension&#xD;
plays an important role for students (M=3.77; SD=0.73).; La experiencia académica en Psicología, compuesta por cinco dimensiones, se&#xD;
refiere al conjunto de experiencias y aspectos socioemocionales que viven los estudiantes&#xD;
durante su carrera en la Universidad. Desde esta perspectiva, este estudio analítico&#xD;
exploratorio, cuantitativo, transversal tuvo como objetivo realizar una encuesta y describir las&#xD;
dimensiones de la experiencia académica de los estudiantes de pregrado en los campus de la&#xD;
Universidad Federal de Bahía en 2021. La recolección de datos consistió en la aplicación del&#xD;
instrumentos: Cuestionario Socioeconómico-demográfico y el Cuestionario de Experiencias&#xD;
Académicas en su versión reducida (QVA-r), con escala Likert de 5 puntos. Como resultado,&#xD;
participaron de este estudio 509 estudiantes universitarios, 367 (71,2%) mujeres y 142 (27,9%)&#xD;
hombres, con una edad promedio de 24,06 años (DE=6,56). Los resultados también muestran,&#xD;
después de haber sido sometidos a análisis cuantitativos, que la dimensión Carrera juega un&#xD;
papel importante para los estudiantes (M=3,77; DE=0,73).

Abstract: The Psychological Well-Being (PWB) of undergraduate university students has been the subject of growing interest in scientific research as it is recognized as a multifaceted and central dimension of mental health. In this sense, this work proposed to present the risk factors and protective factors that influence PWB indices, in order to highlight effective mental health care strategies for this populational segment. Methodologically, it is research with a qualitative approach, based on an integrative review of articles published in Portuguese and English, available in full in the BVS-Psi and PubMed databases. The descriptors “psychological well-being”, “universities” and “mental health” or “psychological well-being”, “risk factors” and “protective factors” were used for BVS-Psi and PubMed, respectively, with 19studies being selected and analyzed. The results highlighted that academic work overload, high expectations, intense competition and uncertainty regarding the professional future are risk factors. It is also evident that the creation of strong social relationships and time management strategies combined with effective professional guidance are protective factors that help promote mental health in this population.

Abstract: This study aims to survey the Academic Experiences of undergraduate university students on the campuses of the Federal University of Bahia located in the city of Salvador - BA, in the year 2021. Data collection consisted of the application of the Socioeconomic-Demographic Questionnaire and the Academic Experience Questionnaire in its reduced version. As a result, 509 undergraduates participated in this study, 71.2% female and 27.9% male, with a mean age of 24.06 years (SD = 6.566). The results, after being submitted to quantitative analysis, allowed us to verify that the dimension that presented the best index was the Career dimension (M = 3.77; SD = 0.733), however, the Interpersonal dimension showed the lowest index (M = 3, 09; SD = 0.637). Given the above, we discuss the need for new investigations that complement and deepen the issues, problems and findings presented and discussed here.
