Abstract: This monograph aims to discuss the concept of identity and the issues surrounding it.
It starts with a bibliographic review on the concept in different fields of knowledge, including
Social Psychology, Identity Theory, Transfeminism, Philosophy, Feminist Theories and
Cultural Studies. It then proposes a concept of identity that encompasses the different aspects
of the experience, corporality and positionality of the subjects. As an exploratory study, this
monograph brings a dialogue between the I who writes and the I who reads, seeking to
overcome academic barriers of distance between text-product and reading subject. Concluding
with an inquiry into the very validity of the concepts worked on, promoting reflection on how
we think of the Other and the effects of these processes of differentiation/classification

Abstract: The aim of this research was to analyze how lesbians and/or lesbian identities appear in
decisions of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), in order to understand how these identities are
juridically (re)produced. To this end, the specific objectives included a discussion on
cisheteronormativity in the legal system, with an emphasis on lesbofeminist critique.
Subsequently, monocratic decisions and judgments from the STJ related to legal cases
involving lesbians or lesbian identities in contexts of violence were selected to analyze the
jurisprudence on the topic. Finally, through a categorization process, the research identified
how lesbians and lesbian identities are portrayed in the selected jurisprudence. The research
addressed the question: how do lesbians or lesbian identities appear in judicial decisions of the
STJ that involve lesbians as plaintiffs and/or victims or in contexts of violence? The study
adopted the content analysis method, applied to 40 summaries of judgments and judicial
decisions issued by the STJ between 2013 and 2023. As a result, eight categories were
identified: a) naturalization of familial lesbophobia, b) phallocentrism, c) heterosexuality as a
benchmark, d) lesbian identity erasure, e) lesbian identity as an insult, f) lesbians as a
minoritized group, g) criminalizing adjectives, and h) "sapatão" as a cognomen in drug
trafficking. The results reveal an understanding of Brazilian lesbianities in contexts of violence,
emphasizing the diverse meanings attributed to lesbianities in situations involving family
relationships, generational dynamics, and criminality.

Abstract: The purpose the of this dissertation consists of a particular case study of Vila Goiás, municipality of Serra do Mel-RN, aiming to undertand the experience of working women who take care of their families and generate income through nut processing: how this double participation occurs in the sphere of cara and word and what are the possible difficulties faced in the search for self-valuation and professional recongnition? These elements helped, through a gender lens, to undertand how the life and work relationships of women farmers are contructed, as bringing the experience of women in the search for in the search for recognition does not mean identifying them only as rural workers, but providing conditions so that they can reflect on their own lives. The theoretical contribution of this study is based on the concepts of gender and class worked. The theoretical contribution of this study is based on the concepts of gender and class worked on by Paulilo (1985, Brumer (2004), Hirata (2015; 2019), Torres-Filha (2020), Macêdo (2008) and Sardenberg (2011). Thus, through qualitative research, we carried out semi-strructured interviews and historical ethnographic work in Vila Goiás and adopted, along the way, materilist feminist epistemology, to glimpse the research object in a more comprehensive way. The research subjects are 15 female nut farmers who live and work in Vila Goiás. From the data analysis, we noticed the great discrepancy between the volume of work carried out by women and the very low financial gains and almost no recognition, in audition to the total lack of other work opportunities. Trus, analyzing the life trajectories and daily lives of women farmers, it was possible to undertand how gender inequalities force them to take on and intensive and extensive work day, marking them take on the entire sphere of domestic care associated with the hard work at home alone.

Abstract: This thesis analyzes, through queer, queer of color, and anticolonial lens, how sexual and gender dissidences have historically been framed as monstrous - a category that operates as a device of social, political, and ontological exclusion. It begins from the understanding that cisheteronormativity imposes barriers to the full recognition of certain bodies’ humanity, producing abjection and violence, while also opening spaces for creative strategies of resistance. The main objective is to understand the ways in which monstrosity is either imposed upon or strategically claimed by such bodies. The specific objectives include examining the identity boundaries of gender and sexuality through lesbians and dykes positionalities; investigating the historical construction of the figure of the monster; discussing the limits of social assimilation; and analyzing desertions and counter-productions of gender that imagine alternative possibilities of life. The methodology combines an interdisciplinary bibliographic review with Jota Mombaça’s submethodology, which incorporates body and writing as locus of knowledge, rejecting neutrality and universalism. The analysis traverses colonial and necropolitical genealogies of monstrosity, its articulations with race, class, gender, and sexuality, and critiques normative forms of inclusion, such as homonormativity and homonationalism (Puar, 2015). It argues that monstrosity may function as a violent mark of exclusion, a strategic choice of resistance, or an ambivalent condition. Finally, it contends that pirraça (Taliboy, 2021), failure, and desertion constitute powerful practices of subversion, capable of destabilizing the boundaries of the human and fostering collectivities beyond neoliberal assimilation.
