The methodology employed was document analysis, which enabled an examination of how UFBA has implemented document management practices aligned with current archival legislation. The study reveals that UFBA is in a growing phase of implementing an archival system, supported by the establishment of a study commission responsible for its creation. Título: O acervo fotográfico da Novonor: a contribuição da empresa na configuração urbana da cidade do Salvador Autor(es): Fontenelle, Liana Garrido Primeiro Orientador: Silva, Leyde Klebia Rodrigues da Abstract: This work aimed to investigate, through Novonor's photographic collection, the company's contribution to the urban configuration of the city of Salvador. And as specific objectives to: carry out a documentary survey of Novonor's photographic collection, select from Novonor's photographic collection documents that portray the urban configuration of the city of Salvador, discuss historical and urban aspects of the city of Salvador using photography as a document, source of information and memory. The theoretical framework of the research addressed the theme of photography as a document, source of information and memory and urbanization of Salvador. The methodology used in the research was based on a qualitative approach, with observation carried out in situ, which allowed a broad view of the object. Regarding the type, it is classified as descriptive and documentary. The chosen field of research was the company Novonor, with the object of the Photographic Collection of its Memory Center. The instruments used to collect the data were organized in a technical form, prepared based on the information contained in the photos. The documents were selected through a search carried out in Compuvision's Acervo system, used by the company to store and make documents available through the website, available on the intranet. To analyze the photographs, a technique known as image analysis was used. The research results show that the archive collection of the Novonor Memory Center is made up of documents produced by the company and that have a historical and/or institutional nature and also demonstrate that the photographs in this collection are documents that can recover the memory of the company and the urban growth of the city of Salvador. The final considerations reflect that the historical and urban aspects of the city of Salvador, specifically the Iguatemi region, using photography as a document and a source of information can be understood based on the actions of the company Novonor. And it is the role of archivists to keep, but also reveal, the collections under their care so that they can live up to their value and the purpose for which they were created. For the scope of this research, in an archival context with the adoption of a case study procedure, methodology will be applied from parameters, such as the qualitative-quantitative approach, of a basic nature, with obviously descriptive objectives. So, once again, understanding how the digital preservation of documents from the collections held in the Historical Archive of the UFBA's Memory Places space contributes to the conservation of these documents from a perspective of digital preservation policies and guides the general objective of this study. To do so, it will be necessary to expose the specifics, which are: recording aspects of the adoption of institutional policies on the subject, identifying processes applied in loco and finally verifying the impacts on the physical integrity and availability of documents from the collections in custody when mechanisms are adopted of digital preservation. Techniques will be applied for data collection and analysis through interviews, with the use of an interview script (questionnaires) as an instrument, in addition to studies in specific bibliography. The expected results should support the existence of institutional policies and processes that support the adoption of digital preservation mechanisms for the conservation of documents from the collections held in the Historical Archive of the UFBA's Memory Places space and thus maintain the integrity of the documents to facilitate their availability to users and interested public. Título: A implantação da digitalização de documentos na Secretaria da Fazenda do Município de Salvador Autor(es): Oliveira, Cirus Marcus Pinho Primeiro Orientador: Brandão, Gleise da Silva Abstract: Over the years, the Department of Finance of the municipality of Salvador (SEFAZ) accumulated a large volume of documents, which ended up making the physical space a challenge, factors such as the lack of document management instruments, were decisive for the creation of an accumulated document mass (MDA). However, the modernization reached the agency in the form of the SEFAZ + Por Salvador strategic planning project, with one of the steps being the digitization service. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyze the aspects that impact the implementation of the digitalization of documents in the SEFAZ of the city of Salvador, to identify legal and technical aspects related to digitalization; to verify the perception of SEFAZ employees in the municipality of Salvador regarding the digitization of documents; map procedures, techniques and tools used in the digitalization of documents in the Treasury Department of the municipality of Salvador. The research is characterized as a case study directed to the SEFAZ universe of the city of Salvador, based on an exploratorydescriptive research, using the questionnaire data collection instruments and direct observation. The sample, corresponding to a total of three participants, with data analysis by the statistical method and tabulation in a spreadsheet and graphs, also used the bibliographical survey, using reliable sources of books, manuals, laws and articles from the database of some of the leading archivology and information science journals. Through the results, we can see a direction that points to clear language in scanning systems and easy and quick access to documents are valued, and employees recognize the importance of scanning, but have not received specific training on scanning and are unaware of the laws and norms related to digitization. It is concluded that the implementation of document scanning at SEFAZ in the city of Salvador impacts on opportunities for improvement and benefits, such as: training of employees, compliance with archival legislation, freeing up the physical space that would be used to store documents, enhancing security documents, make documents more accessible, and contributes to resource saving and preservation.
