Título: Indexação de Imagens em Movimento na Plataforma de Anime Crunchyroll Autor(es): Regis Assis, Diego de Sousa Primeiro Orientador: Santana, Carolina de Souza Abstract: Streaming services are popular products that are gaining a significant share of the public, especially anime platforms, which are animated series developed in Japan. The word means cartoon and, in its country of origin, is used for any animation, whether Eastern or Western. The object of study is the anime platform Crunchyroll, owned by Sony and focused on anime. The archival description and indexing of a document, whether textual or audiovisual, is an important practice in archival science because it facilitates document retrieval. Therefore, we set out to investigate how information is represented, organized, and indexed on this chosen streaming platform. With this perspective, the following objectives were developed: to describe the informational structure of the Crunchyroll platform; and to analyze how some anime on the platform are indexed and described. To achieve these objectives, direct observation on the platform was defined as the methodological strategy to generate information that would allow for descriptive research with a qualitative approach. A general analysis was conducted to describe and understand the site, categories, and genre. From this, a sample was defined for indexing and description analysis of three anime. Three titles were selected, from different genres, but with one thing in common: a prominent Brazilian character. It can be seen that Crunchyroll's search service on its platform does not fully meet the needs of its audience and could be improved. Streaming services could improve the keywords used, indicating terms more closely related to the plot of the anime being searched. The research provides an overview of the history of document management at UFBA, emphasizing its relevance for the preservation of institutional memory and the need for regulation and archival procedures. The methodology employed was document analysis, which enabled an examination of how UFBA has implemented document management practices aligned with current archival legislation. The study reveals that UFBA is in a growing phase of implementing an archival system, supported by the establishment of a study commission responsible for its creation. Título: Difusão da Informação, Cultural e Reivindicativa do bloco a Mudança do Garcia Autor(es): Santos, Rosana Costa dos Primeiro Orientador: Silva, Leyde Klebia Rodrigues da Abstract: This research has as its theme the Mudança do Garcia block, with a focus on cultural and claim diffusion. The research question asked: how does the Mudança do Garcia block build a space for claim, cultural diversity and diffusion of sociopolitical information? To this end, the general objective sought to investigate the performance of the Mudança do Garcia block as a space for claim, cultural diversity and diffusion of sociopolitical information. Specifically, the intention was to: contextualize the tradition of the Mudança do Garcia block and how it has been maintained over the years; identify the main personalities who are and/or were protagonists in the Mudança do Garcia; narrate the performance of the main personalities who are and/or were protagonists in the block; and discuss how the block can be considered a space for claim, cultural diversity and diffusion of sociopolitical information. The research is characterized as qualitative, descriptive, exploratory and documentary. The data were collected from the Collection of the Central Public Library of Bahia and the Digital Library of the Mário Leal Ferreira Foundation. Newspapers were recovered, both in analog and digital formats. In addition, this research was also based on a field visit, using an interview script to collect information with the alive personalities who collaborated in the construction of the block's history. Regarding the results, it was observed that in addition to popular criticism, awareness messages and solidarity, the bloc also pays tributes, and this characterizes the block. The Mudança do Garcia is in the process of officially becoming one of Bahia’s Intangible Heritage, because it is part of the memory of the old carnivals.The final considerations reflected on the bloc's performance as a space for demands with the massive presence of trade unions, associations and social movements, all of this in favor of the diffusion of sociopolitical information. This could be an opportunity to open new paths for different cultural, administrative and community activities than those we are used to. Título: Sindrome dos Arquivos Deteriorados: impactos e consequências na preservação dos acervos e na saúde ocupacional do profissional dos arquivos. Autor(es): Caribé, Paulo Frederico Sousa Primeiro Orientador: Silva, Sérgio Franklin Ribeiro Abstract: The research falls within the context of archival preservation, addressing the issues of archive deterioration, the contributing factors, and their effects, both on the archival collections themselves and on the health of professionals working with these records. The objective is to analyze the main factors causing archive deterioration and their consequences for document preservation and occupational health degradation among involved professionals. Specifically, it seeks to map the primary agents of deterioration and their characteristics, present the damages caused by the loss of archival documents in administrative and professional contexts, list occupational diseases resulting from working with archives, and finally, propose a set of actions to prevent the Syndrome of Deteriorated Archives (SAD). These actions include implementing document management, classification systems, appraisal, preservation, temporality, and access to information. The methodological strategy adopted was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, using bibliographic and documentary research methods. Data collection was conducted through the Google search engine, using keywords related to the topic. The results indicate that the Syndrome of Deteriorated Archives is a complex issue encompassing environmental, structural, and labor-related aspects. Therefore, it is crucial that archival institutions and responsible entities adopt archive management practices, professional training, and government policies aimed at document conservation and workplace protection.
