Escola: espaço de brincar?

Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a importância do brincar na educação infantil. Sabe-se que as brincadeiras e os jogos são essenciais como meios de aprendizagem e de socialização. Nota-se que o brincar tem sido muitas vezes transferido do ambiente familiar para as creches, escolas e centros de lazer. Todavia, ainda é reduzido o tempo escolar destino a essas atividades lúdicas. O trabalho é de cunho bibliográfico e traz uma revisão da literatura dos principais autores que discutiram a relevância das brincadeiras no desenvolvimento da criança, tais como Kishimoto (2009), Huizinga (1971), Kulhmann (1998), Piaget (1998) e Vigotski, (1998), dentre outros. Qual o tempo e o espaço reservados para o brincar nas instituições escolares? Essa foi uma das indagações que procurou-se compreender, constituindo-se no núcleo dessa pesquisa. Desta forma, entende-se que o brincar é algo sério, uma vez é um direito social da criança e uma necessidade humana que podem ter seu espaço privilegiado na escola.

The objective of this work is to analyse the importance of the playing in the childhood education. The jokes and the plays are known to be essential means of apprenticeship and of socialization. It is noticed that the act of playing has been often transferred from the family environment to the childcare, schools and leisure centres. However, the destinated time to these playful activities at school is being reduced. This is a bibliographical research and it brings a revision of the literature of the principal authors who discussed the relevance of the jokes in the development of the child, such as Kishimoto (2009), Huizinga (1971), Kulhmann (1998), Piaget (1998) and Vigotski, (1998), among others. What is the allocated time and space for playing in the educational institutions? This was one of the questions that was attempted to comprehend, constituting the core of this research. In this way, it is understood that playing is a serious matter. As a social right of the child and a human necessity, it should have its priviledged space in the school.
