Em busca de uma poética da loucura: invenção de imagens e narrativas nas artes cênicas

Abstract

O objeto desta investigação é o modo de fazer cênico, isto é, a invenção de imagens e narrativas sobre a loucura, no grupo teatral Os Insênicos, cujos integrantes são usuários de instituições de saúde mental. O objetivo geral é apresentar e discutir significados e sentidos que se elaboram nas produções poéticas do grupo. Como objetivos específicos, destacam-se: analisar princípios, métodos, temáticas e conteúdos desses processos criativos, em comparação com outros processos similares no país; demonstrar aspectos que permitem aos participantes instaurar poéticas e construir cenicamente imagens e narrativas para performances/encenações; compreender como a experiência artística – pelo fazer brincante – faz emergir questões ligadas à vivência desses e dessas artistas, suas histórias, impulsionando e orientando suas criações. A crítica genética e os estudos sobre criação, jogos e brincadeiras são as bases teóricas utilizadas. A tese se organiza metodologicamente ao modo de uma cartografia e reúne quatro capítulos tendo como eixo condutor o objeto acima descrito. No primeiro capítulo, a busca por uma poética da loucura apresenta uma revisão de trabalhos encontrados no Banco de Teses da CAPES visando a uma reflexão sobre aspectos que cruzam e sustentam a interface artes cênicas e saúde mental. No segundo capítulo, a experiência criativa de Os Insênicos é aproximada da experiência de outros três grupos brasileiros, compostos por sujeitos usuários/as de serviços de saúde mental. Pela lente da crítica genética, propõe-se leitura sobre os modos de fazer recorrentes nos grupos. O terceiro capítulo aborda o lugar da criação artística para duas atrizes e um ator de Os Insênicos em suas experimentações teatrais há quase dez anos. Compreende-se a função lúdica, ao entender que a ideia do brincar, jogar, improvisar são um espaço potencial, ao mesmo tempo compartilhado e singular. O quarto capítulo analisa, por meio da poética do espetáculo “Quem está aí?”, a ideia de imagem e narrativa, buscando demonstrar como algumas invenções se materializam num processo criativo. Reitera-se o valor da produção da cena para aqueles e aquelas cujo interesse é o trabalho com o viver imaginativo e criador. E, com base na percepção criativa, verifica-se que outros modos de viver são possíveis, tendo a arte, o trabalho coletivo e a reinvenção de si e do mundo como o sal da vida.

The object of this investigation is the scenic way of doing things, that is, the invention of images and narratives about madness, in the theater company Os Insênicos, whose members are users of mental health institutions. The general objective is to present and discuss meanings and senses that are elaborated in the poetic productions of the group. As specific objectives, we highlight: to analyze principles, methods, themes and contents of these creative processes, in comparison with other similar processes in the country; to demonstrate aspects that allow participants to establish poetics and build images and narratives for performances / staging; to understand how the artistic experience - through playing - brings issues related to the experience of these artists, their stories, impelling and guiding their creations. Genetic criticism and studies on creation, games and play are the theoretical bases used. The thesis is methodologically organized in the form of a cartography and brings together four chapters, with the object described above as the guiding axis. In the first chapter, the search for a poetics of madness presents a review of works found in the CAPES Thesis Bank aiming at reflecting on aspects that intersect and support the interface between scenic arts and mental health. In the second chapter, the creative experience of Os Insênicos is compared to the experience of three other Brazilian groups, composed of subjects who use mental health services. Through the lens of genetic criticism, it is proposed to read about the ways of doing recurring in groups. The third chapter discusses the place of artistic creation for two actresses and an actor from Os Insênicos in their theatrical experiments for almost ten years. The ludic function is understood, by understanding that the idea of playing, performing, improvising is a potential space, at the same time shared and singular. The fourth chapter analyzes, through the poetics of the show “Who's there?”, the idea of image and narrative, seeking to demonstrate how some inventions materialize in a creative process. The value of the production of the scene is reiterated for those who are interested in working with imaginative and creative living. And, based on creative perception, it appears that other ways of living are possible, with art, collective work and the reinvention of oneself and the world as the salt of life.
