Representações das mulheres nos quadrinhos: de Mafalda a Curvas Perigosas, o que mudar?

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo central detectar e avaliar a ocorrência de sentidos sobre a identidade feminina, bem como identificar e discutir as práticas discursivas sobre a mulher. Visa-se compreender o processo de significação instaurado pelo discurso sobre a mulher, observando-se sua historicidade, a fim de apreender sua discursividade. Para tanto, foram adotados os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da Análise do Discurso, aliados ao construto teórico estabelecido por Foucault para explicar a constituição do sujeito em sua relação com o saber-poder-ética, sempre se reportando ao que se elegeu como corpus, que é constituído por recortes discursivos, formados por seqüências discursivas produzidas em HQs. Inicialmente, procede-se a uma reflexão em relação aos postulados citados. Em seguida, discutem-se questões referentes à representação do feminino, mobilizando-se, para tanto, conceitos como identidade e gênero. Por fim, analisam-se as formulações verbais e não verbais de cartuns e tiras selecionadas de Mafalda, Radical Chic, Mulheres Alteradas 1, Mulheres Alteradas 2, Mulheres Alteradas 3, Mulheres Alteradas 4, Mulheres Alteradas 5, Mulheres Superadas 1, Curvas Perigosas, Curvas Perigosas 2, à luz dos postulados dos dois quadros teóricos supracitados.

The main objective of this paper is to detect and evaluate the main ocurrence about feminine identity, as well as, identify and examine discourse practices about woman. It also aimed to comprehend the process of meaning estabilished by discourse on woman, observing its historical development, in order to learn its discourse. Therefore, it was assumed methodological-theoretical presumpptions of Analysis of the Discourse, allied to Foucault´s set of theoretical presumpptions to explain the subject constitution related with knowledgepower- ethics, always alluding to whatever was designated as CORPUS, which is cinsisted of discourses clipping elaborated by sequences of comic strips.Begining with reflection related to principles mentioned and then going to questions regarding female representative, then mobilizing though concepts of identity and gender. At last analysisng verbal and non verbal formulations from cartoons and strips selected from Mafalda, Radical Chic, Modified Woman 1, Modified Woman 2, Modified Woman 3, Modified Woman 4, Modified Woman 5, Surpessed Woman I, Dangerous Curves, Dangerous Curves 2, all from postulates of the 2 theoretical pictures above mentioned.
