Os Iny (Karajá) na encruzilhada dos horizontes ontológicos do Ser e do Estar

Abstract

A presente tese é a culminância de uma trajetória investigativa denominada: Os Iny (Karajá) na encruzilhada dos horizontes ontológicos do ser e do estar. Em torno deste tema, e no conjunto intersecção dessa relação entre mundos, cognição e cultura se entrecruzam, e evidenciam um modus operandi particular, quando esses dois horizontes de compreensão da vida e as experiências humanas de mundo que lhes são subjacentes entram em contato. Os enredamentos destas visões de mundo desenham no chão da vida um sistema complexo de relações, cuja configuração denota um trânsito entre culturas, abrigando no seu interior um interatuar de atores sociais contracenando, cujos papéis e suas performances nos remetem a entender como a cultura (ou as culturas) cria seus próprios mecanismos para compreender, viver, conviver e existir no e com o mundo. Para compreender este interjogo existencial, é imprescindível não perder de vista que estamos tratando da interface de dois horizontes culturais, e que a estes correspondem distintas visões de mundo e formas de se instalar na vida. Por um lado, temos o horizonte ontológico da cultura ocidental, cujo código de valores de interpretação da atividade humana, em suas múltiplas manifestações, se estrutura desde um núcleo significativo dado pelo “esforço de ser”. Por outro lado, temos o horizonte do “estar sendo” Iny (Karajá), cuja matriz epistêmica busca suas referências em outras nascentes, e que no âmbito desta tese nos remetem à Comunidade Iny de Krehawa (São Domingos), região do Araguaia – Norte do Mato Grosso, Sul do Pará, Norte do Tocantins. Neste território os saberes Iny são narrados desde suas origens ancestrais. Para compreender esta relação entre mundos, o casamento intercultural constitui o lócus emblemático, desde onde puxo o fio destas discussões e aos poucos me adentro pelos meios e pelas adjacências que a intercorrem. Puxando este fio, andarilho, priorizando os caminhos em detrimento das metas, a subjetivação-objetivação opera simultaneamente, num exercício de não deixar-se engessar por regras ou protocolos. Por estes caminhos, além da experiência de longos anos com os povos indígenas e a sabedoria Iny, a Antropologia Filosófica de Rodolfo Kusch e o referencial teórico de outros intercessores, compõem o andaime epistêmico que dão sustentação a esta análise cognitiva. Assim, os conceitos de cultura, geocultura e interculturalidade se integram aos fundamentos desta pesquisa qualitativa, alicerçada pelo exercício da observação participante e pela elaboração de diários de campo, instrumentos de pesquisa que entremearam a tessitura desta Tese de Doutoramento. Logo, a cartografia desta escrita e suas reflexões constituiu um espaço/tempo filosófico de onde ecoaram saberes que levaram em conta as mediações epistemológicas que informaram as tensões e distensões dos processos cognitivos em jogo na região do Araguaia.

ABSTRACT This thesis is the culmination of an investigative traject called: The Iny (Karajá) at the crossroads of the ontological horizons of being inners or outers. Around this theme, the whole intersection between worlds, cognition and culture intersects, and evidences a particular modus operandi, when these are the horizons of comprehension of life and the human experiences of the world that are subjunct to us. The entanglements of these worldviews draw on the floor of life a complex system of relationships, whose configuration denotes a traffic between cultures, sheltering in these interior a collective action of social actors countering, whose roles and performances send us to understand as a culture (or as cultures) creates its own mechanisms to understand live and exist as a world. To understand this existential game, it is essential not to lose sight of the fact that we are dealing with the interface of two cultural horizons that correspond to different visions of the world and ways of establishing oneself in life. It is, on the one hand, the ontological horizon or the occidental culture horizon, constituted by its code of values and interpretation of human activity in its multiple manifestations, which is structured from a significant nucleus given the "effort of being". On the other hand, we fear or horizon of "being" being Iny (Karajá), whose epistemic matrix searches for its other references, and which does not refer to us in the region of Araguaia - North of Mato Grosso, Sul do Pará, North do Tocantins. In this territory the Iny are narrated from their ancestral origins. To comprehend this relationship between worlds, or intercultural constitution or emblematic locus, I pull the thread of these discussions, and gradually I am drawn in by the means and the adjacencies that intervene. Using this concept, drifter, prioritizing the ways in detriment of goals, the subjection-objectification operates simultaneously, in an exercise of not letting-in by rules or protocols. Thus, the concepts of culture, geoculture and interculturality are integrated to the foundations of this qualitative research, based on the exercise of participant observation and the elaboration of field journals, research instruments that interweave the fabric of this PhD thesis. Therefore, the cartography of this writing and its reflections constituted a philosophical space / time from which echoed knowledge that took into account the epistemological mediations that informed the tensions and distensions of the cognitive processes in play in the region of Araguaia.
